First let me start off my saying Charlie was very nice during the consult and then when him and his crew came back to do the job, the Chimney looked great. Second, I didn't notice at the time when the chimney was completed that both gutters needed to be replaced due to the cement that was used to fixed the chimney. When we contacted Ageless Chimney in regards to this matter, Christian (who was with Charlie during the repairs) came out and stated that he would replace the gutters as long as we got the materials. It took about a month for Christian to come out because according to him this was a favor. For the money that the company asked for the repair once they crew noticed there was an issued w/the gutters they should have notified the home owners and then allow the home owners to decide if they wanted to replace the gutters. Christian arrived today with a NASTY ATTITUDE. When he finished I asked him why did he only replace one of the two gutters, he stated this was a conversation he previously had with my Mom, that one of the gutters would be replaced and that he is not coming back to place the other gutter.
I would not advise ANYBODY to use this company, it starts off good they do half the work, take your money and the moment there is a issue w/the repairs the repair men are NASTY INDIVIDUALS. My family and I WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY AND DO NOT APPRECIATE THE SELFISHNESS OF THIS BUSINESS.

Would highly recommend this company. They had excellent customer service! From the beginning phone call with Cheryl the receptionist to the workers Keith and Kyle that installed a stainless steel chimney liner today. This company was a pleasure to deal with, fast, had great prices, meticulous work, and highly recommended:)Frank R.- Yelp
Called them to quote a paver project around a pool and replace an old wood deck as well --roughly 1,000 square (pavers plus bullnose). This is a $15k-$20k job. Sherwood came to the house, offered a couple ideas ---nothing we hadn't heard from other companies (we got 2 estimates and Ageless would have been the 3rd. He spent a half hour measuring and drawing and then said to give him a couple days and he was able to start sometime in June. Well it's now been 4 weeks and we still haven't gotten the estimate. Maybe the job was too small for them or maybe too big for them, I don't know. Maybe if I need my chimney swept, I'll try them again. I went with another company (from Levittown), both decks look amazing! Final price $17,100 after a couple add-on's.

RIPOFF ALERT!!!!They quoted me one price over the phone, then, after the job was done, they added quite an extra charges. When I questioned the extra charge, the gentleman just kept on repeating the extra charge verbally..... and also, charged me $200 for " point work" which took all of 5 minutes....... and he acted like he was doing me a big favor by charging $200..... steer clear of Ageless Chimney unless you enjoy being RIPPED OFF

Had the pleasure of meeting Bob this week to fix our chimney which had no cap or liner on it for years apparently (found dead birds inside gross). He beat out a previous estimate and did an amazing job! Came at straight 9am, explained everything and was done by 11. Super nice, professional, and clean. Would recommend to anyone!Bob Alarcon
I am truly satisfied. I have not used my fireplace for 4-5 years. The hamper was rusted. I called 3 companies for an estimate. 2 came in and said it would cost $450-$500. Ageless came in and first tried spraying WD40. It worked! And they didn't even charge me. I highly recommend this company.

I was in need of custom chimney cap, and luckily I found Ageless Chimney on Instagram. Based on their Instagram account, they seemed to be very reputable. I was dealing with Charlie Rohm, whom was an absolute gentleman, patient, and very knowledgeable. Charlie never left me hanging and was always in contact with me. From the first day of ordering to the install, everything went smooth. Thanks to Charlie, I would definitely recommend Ageless. Check out there instagram account, it speaks for itself. Once again, thanks Charlie!

The staff arrived during the timeframe that was stated. I originally asked for chimney and boiler sweep but one of the guys took a look and said I didn't need the boiler sweep which id have never known. They were fast and efficient. When they went up to the roof they took pictures to show the damage I had and offered an estimate for future work. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful as myself and my family have never owned a fireplace. Will use againKathleen S.- Yelp
Unfortunately not thrilled with work that was done. We had them redo our stoop with the understanding all sides would be bricked like original, it wasn't. Sides were stuccoed. Plus gaps between bricks on steps where water would seep and in winter when frozen would cause cracks. The stone was marked up and they destroyed grass by cutting stone on it. Would not recommend at all.

My chimney recently got damaged by superstorm sandy. I gave ageless chimney a call after their website provided me with great information. The owner Bob came to my house the same week. They were able to rebuild and fix my chimney so I could use heat and hot water. I was so impressed with the way the company was efficient and clean. Highly recommend them!

A must hire. I have yet to see this level of commitment to achieve customer satisfaction and dedication to one's craft. I deliberately took over a year to write this because I wanted to make sure my issue was resolved. I had a leak around my chimney that was difficult to remedy and water was coming into my attic. Generally speaking, my chimney and flashing were in good condition according to several experts, and many couldn't understand why I was having leaks. A wide range of options were presented by different vendors as well as pricing. Ageless recommended repointing the chimney, so I agreed and the price was reasonable. After they finished the job, and after a hard rain, I saw that I was still having leaks. I called Ageless, and they came back to remedy the issue. About a month later, I was still having issues. I called Ageless again, and they came back a third time.Long story short, this project started in late 2017. These guys came back at least 5 times (no additional cost) over the course of 9 months and threw the kitchen sink at this (why a sink at a chimney? I don't know). They were fixing things that were out of original scope and around the chimney under pretense that water was traveling and entering my attic from unobservable areas. This additional work was at no additional cost as well and I approved all work. They even repointed the job a second time- no cost. All I know is that I met the entire team over the course of 9 months. All three gentlemen are cordial and knowledgable and committed to solving your problem. Not once was frustration directed at me. Unless they have zero overhead costs, I'd be surprised if they broke even on this job. I'm writing this because you want to see guys like this be successful. Hire them.

I had this company come by and fix my chimney. The owner Bobby is a great guy. I saw some of his videos on Facebook and decided to give them a call and I am glad I did. The last gut did a horrible job the chimney was falling in.
The job came out great. If you need any masonry work done. I would definitely give them a call first. I don't think you will be disappointed . Thanks

Gas and wood-burning fireplaces are one of the most beloved features among Kings County, NY homeowners. They add instant character and provide wonderful warmth, which is certainly welcoming on blustery winter days.
Yes, if you’re Dyker Heights home has a fireplace, there’s no doubt you enjoy it; however, no matter how well you maintain the structure, soot and ash are bound to escape the firebox and leave behind residue on the bricks that surround the hearth and façade of your fireplace. When it does, it can minimize the aesthetic appeal of this prized feature of your home, and even worse, it can cause some pretty significant damage to your property.
Why Cleaning Your Fireplace Bricks is Important
Soot is a byproduct of combustion or rather incomplete combustion. It occurs when organic carbon-based materials, such as wood and coal, aren’t burned completely. It’s comprised of tiny black particles and it accumulates on any surfaces that surround a fireplace. Soot is acidic in nature; it also contains metals, dust, and oils. Bricks are made out of clay, and while they are heat resistant, they are highly porous. Given the elements that soot contains, the material can wreak havoc on brick. Not only is the accumulation of dark spots and stains unsightly, but over time, it can damage the brick and disturb the structural integrity of your fireplace.
Cleaning the soot that accumulates on the bricks that surround your fireplace is important because it not only enhances its visual appearance, but it also preserves the structural integrity of your fireplace; it assures your safety, too!
Reasons to Hire a Professional to Clean Your Fireplace Bricks
When you start seeing black stains and marks on your fireplace bricks, it’s time to give them a good cleaning. While you can certainly do the job yourself, fireplace brick cleaning is actually better left to a professional. Before you gather up cleaning supplies and pull up your sleeves, here’s a look at some of the top reasons why you should consider hiring a fireplace cleaning service to handle the task removing the soot from your fireplace bricks.
While it might seem like all you need is some sudsy water, a course scrubbing brush, and some elbow grease, in reality, cleaning soot off of bricks is a lot harder than it appears. Depending on the nature of your bricks and the soot that has accumulated on them, ridding the material of the substance can seem virtually impossible. In fact, many Dyker Heights, NY homeowners that we’ve spoken to who attempt the task on their own have said that no matter how hard they tried, they still couldn’t completely remove the soot that had accumulated on their fireplaces.
A reputable fireplace cleaning service will have the right tools and will know the proper techniques to successfully rid your fireplace bricks of unsightly and potentially dangerous soot. At Ageless Chimney, our team of experts has received extensive training on the most proven and cutting edge techniques and uses the safest and most effective tools to ensure the job is done the right way. When our team is on the job, you can rest assured that your fireplace bricks will be fully cleaned and look as good as they did the day they were installed.
There are a lot of products on the market that are intended to clean fireplace bricks. While some products may be effective, the truth is, they often contain a mixture of harsh chemicals. Depending on the chemicals the cleaning product you’re using contains, being exposed to them has the potential to cause adverse side effects, especially if they make contact with your skin or eyes or if you inhale the fumes that they emit.
In addition to the potential harm that exposure to cleaning supplies can pose, there’s also a chance that you could damage your fireplace. If you use products that are too harsh, for example, there’s a real possibility that you could mar the bricks, weaken them, and damage the structural integrity of your fireplace surround. Operating a damaged fireplace can lead to serious consequences, including smoke and carbon monoxide poisoning, as well as an increased risk of a house fire.
Putting yourself in harm’s way is never worth the risk. Instead, have a professional company that specializes in fireplace brick cleaning do the job for you so that you can avoid the possible dangers that damaged brickwork and exposure to toxic cleaning supplies can pose.
If you’re like many Dyker Heights homeowners, you might think that cleaning your fireplace bricks on your own will save you a bundle. In reality, however, fireplace chimney cleaning costs can actually be a lot less than the cost of DIY. When you factor in the expense of cleaning supplies, the potential damage you could cause to your fireplace, and the possible injuries you could sustain, paying to have a professional do the job for you can save you a bundle in the long run.
