Ageless chimney answered the phone on the first ring and was able to come to my home to Fix a carbon monoxide leak the same day. They installed a stainless steel chimney liner to keep me and my family safe from carbon monoxide. I would recommend them to all my friends and family!

Very professional. I thought our chimney was clogged, and called hoping they could come out the same day. They were at my house a few hours later, and had called to give an updated ETA which was great because I work nearby and was able to run home to meet them. The guy that came out (Sherwood) was friendly, explained everything to me, worked quickly and overall did an excellent job. I hope I don't have more chimney issues anytime soon, but if I do I'll be calling Ageless again.

RIPOFF ALERT!!!!They quoted me one price over the phone, then, after the job was done, they added quite an extra charges. When I questioned the extra charge, the gentleman just kept on repeating the extra charge verbally..... and also, charged me $200 for " point work" which took all of 5 minutes....... and he acted like he was doing me a big favor by charging $200..... steer clear of Ageless Chimney unless you enjoy being RIPPED OFFMichael Mantione
Wanted to take a few minutes to pass along my experience with Ageless Chimney….my mother in law is 87 and she needed to have repairs made to her fire place chimney and to her front stoop. I went the normal route of asking around, for personal references before doing some research on the computer. I can tell you I was very apprehensive when I could not get any personal references. Quite frankly, I was most concerned about her being taken advantage of and me too….well let me tell you…I am super glad that I chose Ageless after receiving several estimates….their work and professionalism was simply outstanding…so good that I felt that I had to take the time to write this review…As for the longevity of their work, time will only tell but I am very confident in the results for the work that was performed and they warrantied it for ten years too.

We just had Ageless Chimney replace our chimney liner. They were very professional from the original inspection/quote process to setting the date/time for the job to completion. The men worked very neatly and when they left the place was spotless. And another plus, they guys were very pleasant!! I would definitely recommend Ageless Chimney!

What a horrible experience. They came to work on my chimney and the ladder falls on my S550 Mercedes Benz causing body damage and totally messing up my railings for the stoop and breaking my solar lights for the steps as well. They did not even mention the damage to my car I had to find out by watching the Vivint video. I called Charlie and he did arrange to have my car fixed and he paid for the damages. I had to pay for the lights to replace the ones that were broken and was never reimbursed. My steps are still loose from the ladder falling on them. I spoke with Bob the owner to let him know the railings for the steps were very loose and needed repair after waiting 6 weeks for Charlie to fix things. Charlie finally came and put the lights on that I had to buy on my own and I was not reimbursed. However the railings remain very loose and the advice I was given by Charlie was, "Just replace the rails. We could give you a good price. " My rails were perfectly fine before Ageless Chimney damaged them when the ladder fell. This caused damage to my rails, solar lights for the rails, solar lights for the garden, and my car. Bob the owner said he would come by to make it right but never did. My rail remains very loose, and I was never reimbursed for the lights. What a major inconvenience Ageless Chimney caused me. I will say the work done on the Chimney was good. I wish they were more professional as they came highly recommended. They acted like they were doing me a favor or I was inconveniencing them when I wanted things fixed. The nicest person was the receptionist on the phone. I will now have to pay to get my rails redone unfortunately due to their error of not securing their ladder. Unreal.

Called Ageless Chimney to get a free estimate on our damaged and old chimney. They were very knowledgeable and helpful with our chimney issues. The guys showed up and really took care of business. We had the upper portion of our chimney rebuilt and it looks amazing. Very clean job. We also had the metal chimney liner put in and now we don't have to worry about the old terra cotta lining. Bobby and the guys at Ageless Chimney are professional, knowledgeable, clean and on point. Highly recommend.

I had called Ageless Chimney because we had a leak into our attic from the chimney. We were unsure if the roof or chimney flashing was the problem. They set me up with an appointment for a one hour window and confirmed the day before. The guys got here on time. Charlie was professional and gave us a reasonable estimate and told us what the problem was. He was able to fix it right then and there! It stopped our leak! Thanks guys!Gene T.- Yelp
Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance to have them look at my chimney Between 8-10. (I have to leave for work at 10:30.)
Charlie calls at 9:50 telling me he'll be there in 45 minutes. They are not reliable. They cannot be counted on to keep their word and it is probably reflected in their work. I would not consider hiring them. They treat people like garbage.

A must hire. I have yet to see this level of commitment to achieve customer satisfaction and dedication to one's craft. I deliberately took over a year to write this because I wanted to make sure my issue was resolved. I had a leak around my chimney that was difficult to remedy and water was coming into my attic. Generally speaking, my chimney and flashing were in good condition according to several experts, and many couldn't understand why I was having leaks. A wide range of options were presented by different vendors as well as pricing. Ageless recommended repointing the chimney, so I agreed and the price was reasonable. After they finished the job, and after a hard rain, I saw that I was still having leaks. I called Ageless, and they came back to remedy the issue. About a month later, I was still having issues. I called Ageless again, and they came back a third time.Long story short, this project started in late 2017. These guys came back at least 5 times (no additional cost) over the course of 9 months and threw the kitchen sink at this (why a sink at a chimney? I don't know). They were fixing things that were out of original scope and around the chimney under pretense that water was traveling and entering my attic from unobservable areas. This additional work was at no additional cost as well and I approved all work. They even repointed the job a second time- no cost. All I know is that I met the entire team over the course of 9 months. All three gentlemen are cordial and knowledgable and committed to solving your problem. Not once was frustration directed at me. Unless they have zero overhead costs, I'd be surprised if they broke even on this job. I'm writing this because you want to see guys like this be successful. Hire them.

I am truly satisfied. I have not used my fireplace for 4-5 years. The hamper was rusted. I called 3 companies for an estimate. 2 came in and said it would cost $450-$500. Ageless came in and first tried spraying WD40. It worked! And they didn't even charge me. I highly recommend this company.Steven F.- Yelp
Very Impressed! Showed up on time, gave me a great warranty and worked their A...... off on my 90 year old chimney. I really liked the fact that the owner of the company was involved in every step of the job. I am a licensed home inspector and would highly recommend ageless chimney to any and all of my clients.

I found this company through online reviews and very pleased with the work they performed ! I had part of the chimney rebuilt , inner steel liner installed and point entire chimney. They were prompt, professional and excellent work ! They cleaned up afterward where you would never know there were any construction work done prior ! Nick was great , he remembered all tasks we discussed during our consultations and completed them all. Highly recommended them .
For Richmond County Fireplace Cleaning Service You Can Count On, Call Ageless Chimney!
A fireplace is a wonderful feature of your Grymes Hill, NY home. It’s a great place to curl up with a good book, spend some quality time with your loved ones, and just sit back and relax while enjoying the warm glow (especially when those frigid winter temperatures roll in!) However, once the blaze subsides and the embers are all extinguished, many property owners don’t realize how important fireplace cleaning is, or they realize it, but don’t understand how difficult the task can be.
Though they’re beautiful when they’re burning, fires leave behind a lot of debris, such as soot, ash, and creosote. Cleaning up the mess can be, well, messy. Plus (and more importantly), properly removing all of the waste that fires create is essential to maintain the efficiency of the structure, as well as your safety. How can you avoid the hassle that’s involved with cleaning a fireplace and ensure that the job is done right? – By hiring a reputable fireplace cleaning company!
Why Hire a Professional Fireplace Cleaning Service?
Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping; there are a lot of cleaning jobs around the house that you can easily do on your own, but there’s one that’s better left in the hands of a professional: fireplace cleaning. Why? Here’s a look at some of the top reasons why you should seriously consider hiring a reputable company to clean your fireplace.
Knowledge and Experience
Believe it or not, cleaning out a fireplace requires a lot of knowledge and experience. The byproducts of fire – especially creosote – can be extremely difficult to remove. A seasoned professional will know exactly how to tackle that built-up debris and will be able to effectively remove it from all of the components within your fireplace; the damper, the firebox, the doors, the screens, etc.
The Right Tools and Equipment
Cleaning out a fireplace requires a lot more than just a vacuum and some sudsy water. A reputable fireplace cleaning professional will have all of the necessary tools and equipment to get the job done the right way; state-of-the-art vacuums, cutting-edge brooms, advanced solvents, and more. Sure, you could purchase these tools and supplies on your own, but do you know exactly what you’ll need or how to use them?
Properly cleaning out a fireplace is vital for your safety. If the debris isn’t effectively removed, there’s a chance that the blaze will end up burning far beyond your fireplace; it could quickly engulf your entire home! Creosote, a byproduct of combustion, is highly flammable. Every time you use your fireplace, this sticky substance collects within all of the interior components, including the bricks, the damper, the doors, and even the screens. Creosote is a hard, sticky substance and it can be extremely difficult to remove on your own. To ensure the safety of your home and family, having a professional do the job is definitely in your best interest.
Improved Aesthetic Appeal
Dirty bricks, built-up ash, and soot; dirt and debris detract from the visual appeal of your fireplace. A professional will offer a range of services, such as fireplace brick cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and more. These services will restore the beauty of your fireplace so you can continue to enjoy its aesthetic qualities.
A lot of Grymes Hill homeowners assume that professional fireplace chimney cleaning costs will be more than they want to spend; hence the reason many people end up trying to DIY this all-important job. However, the truth is, cleaning a fireplace yourself can actually cost you a lot more than hiring a professional fireplace cleaning service.
Cleaning a fireplace requires numerous tools and supplies, the cost of which can be pretty high. Plus, if you damage the fireplace or you fail to properly clean it and a fire starts, the repairs can be exorbitant. Given all of these factors, hiring a professional will actually end up saving you money in the long run.
Between the setup, actually cleaning the fireplace, and then cleaning up after you’ve finished the job, fireplace cleaning can take several hours; not to mention the fact that it can be a very cumbersome task. If you aren’t keen on the idea of spending a day off covered in soot and ash and tidying up a huge mess, you should definitely hire a pro to clean your fireplace for you!
Peace of Mind
Given the money you’ll save, the ease, the improved safety, and the overall better results you’ll receive, when you hire a professional fireplace cleaner, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that the job will be done the right way.
