Had the pleasure of meeting Bob this week to fix our chimney which had no cap or liner on it for years apparently (found dead birds inside gross). He beat out a previous estimate and did an amazing job! Came at straight 9am, explained everything and was done by 11. Super nice, professional, and clean. Would recommend to anyone!

Called them to quote a paver project around a pool and replace an old wood deck as well --roughly 1,000 square (pavers plus bullnose). This is a $15k-$20k job. Sherwood came to the house, offered a couple ideas ---nothing we hadn't heard from other companies (we got 2 estimates and Ageless would have been the 3rd. He spent a half hour measuring and drawing and then said to give him a couple days and he was able to start sometime in June. Well it's now been 4 weeks and we still haven't gotten the estimate. Maybe the job was too small for them or maybe too big for them, I don't know. Maybe if I need my chimney swept, I'll try them again. I went with another company (from Levittown), both decks look amazing! Final price $17,100 after a couple add-on's.

What a horrible experience. They came to work on my chimney and the ladder falls on my S550 Mercedes Benz causing body damage and totally messing up my railings for the stoop and breaking my solar lights for the steps as well. They did not even mention the damage to my car I had to find out by watching the Vivint video. I called Charlie and he did arrange to have my car fixed and he paid for the damages. I had to pay for the lights to replace the ones that were broken and was never reimbursed. My steps are still loose from the ladder falling on them. I spoke with Bob the owner to let him know the railings for the steps were very loose and needed repair after waiting 6 weeks for Charlie to fix things. Charlie finally came and put the lights on that I had to buy on my own and I was not reimbursed. However the railings remain very loose and the advice I was given by Charlie was, "Just replace the rails. We could give you a good price. " My rails were perfectly fine before Ageless Chimney damaged them when the ladder fell. This caused damage to my rails, solar lights for the rails, solar lights for the garden, and my car. Bob the owner said he would come by to make it right but never did. My rail remains very loose, and I was never reimbursed for the lights. What a major inconvenience Ageless Chimney caused me. I will say the work done on the Chimney was good. I wish they were more professional as they came highly recommended. They acted like they were doing me a favor or I was inconveniencing them when I wanted things fixed. The nicest person was the receptionist on the phone. I will now have to pay to get my rails redone unfortunately due to their error of not securing their ladder. Unreal.

I had another chimney company come over to inspect my chimney on my new home. I felt like the guy was jerking me around and he was a kind of shady. I researched some other companies and got a recommendation from my cousin to use Ageless. I dealt with Sherwood who was excellent and a true professional. He gave me an honest quote and showed me the work he was going to do and even got me up on the roof to point out somethings. Himself and partner did great work and I'm very happy with my choice. I highly recommend using Ageless Chimney.Lisa D.- Yelp
Everything about this company was very professional beginning with the friendly receptionist in the office. She scheduled to have someone come out for an estimate a few days after my call. Someone called to confirm the appt a couple of days prior. Charlie and Terry showed up early (could it get any better?!) and my parents felt so comfortable with their ability to complete the work, they had them just take care of it on the spot! Everyone I interacted with on this repair was so pleasant and friendly! Would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend to others.

First let me start off my saying Charlie was very nice during the consult and then when him and his crew came back to do the job, the Chimney looked great. Second, I didn't notice at the time when the chimney was completed that both gutters needed to be replaced due to the cement that was used to fixed the chimney. When we contacted Ageless Chimney in regards to this matter, Christian (who was with Charlie during the repairs) came out and stated that he would replace the gutters as long as we got the materials. It took about a month for Christian to come out because according to him this was a favor. For the money that the company asked for the repair once they crew noticed there was an issued w/the gutters they should have notified the home owners and then allow the home owners to decide if they wanted to replace the gutters. Christian arrived today with a NASTY ATTITUDE. When he finished I asked him why did he only replace one of the two gutters, he stated this was a conversation he previously had with my Mom, that one of the gutters would be replaced and that he is not coming back to place the other gutter.
I would not advise ANYBODY to use this company, it starts off good they do half the work, take your money and the moment there is a issue w/the repairs the repair men are NASTY INDIVIDUALS. My family and I WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY AND DO NOT APPRECIATE THE SELFISHNESS OF THIS BUSINESS.

I had several reviews for a cap, new lining and a cleaning. Keith gave us a thorough overview of the work needed and gave us the confidence that the work would be done in a timely and clean fashion. We were not disappointed. I would use them in the future. They are proud of their work and left us with a pristine job. I highly recommend them.Laura G.- Yelp
RIPOFF ALERT!!!!They quoted me one price over the phone, then, after the job was done, they added quite an extra charges. When I questioned the extra charge, the gentleman just kept on repeating the extra charge verbally..... and also, charged me $200 for " point work" which took all of 5 minutes....... and he acted like he was doing me a big favor by charging $200..... steer clear of Ageless Chimney unless you enjoy being RIPPED OFF

This contractor is legit. Right from the phone call to the installation. The receptionist scheduled someone to come out and called me to let me know they were on there way. Bobby arrived on time, with his crew, and provided me with a full explanation of what needed to be done, what materials he uses, all the material specifications, how the chimney liner installation was to be done, cost and warranty. He was neat and clean and made sure I was satisfied throughout each step of the installation.
As an Engineer, I expect someone who is knowledgeable, experienced, affordable (within reason), and can produce good quality work. Bobby from Ageless Chimney met all those qualities and deserves this review.

I called this company because my boiler kept shutting and my oil guy said it was the chimney. My neighbor recommended Ageless Chimney to me so I checked their website and thought they looked pretty good. They came on time and explained that I had a blockage. They cleaned it out and it was not expensive. The owners themselves came and they were neat and professional and very nice.I would recommend this company.Bob Alarcon
I am truly satisfied. I have not used my fireplace for 4-5 years. The hamper was rusted. I called 3 companies for an estimate. 2 came in and said it would cost $450-$500. Ageless came in and first tried spraying WD40. It worked! And they didn't even charge me. I highly recommend this company.

I can't say enough about this company. They gave us a reasonably priced estimate and were on time with the estimate and with the appointment. They worked on my chimney on a cold snowy morning and were very pleasant to deal with. I am very happy with the job they performed. Would recommend this trust worthy company to anyone looking for work on their chimney.
For Queens County Fireplace Cleaning Service You Can Count On, Call Ageless Chimney!
A fireplace is a wonderful feature of your Laurelton, NY home. It’s a great place to curl up with a good book, spend some quality time with your loved ones, and just sit back and relax while enjoying the warm glow (especially when those frigid winter temperatures roll in!) However, once the blaze subsides and the embers are all extinguished, many property owners don’t realize how important fireplace cleaning is, or they realize it, but don’t understand how difficult the task can be.
Though they’re beautiful when they’re burning, fires leave behind a lot of debris, such as soot, ash, and creosote. Cleaning up the mess can be, well, messy. Plus (and more importantly), properly removing all of the waste that fires create is essential to maintain the efficiency of the structure, as well as your safety. How can you avoid the hassle that’s involved with cleaning a fireplace and ensure that the job is done right? – By hiring a reputable fireplace cleaning company!
Why Hire a Professional Fireplace Cleaning Service?
Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping; there are a lot of cleaning jobs around the house that you can easily do on your own, but there’s one that’s better left in the hands of a professional: fireplace cleaning. Why? Here’s a look at some of the top reasons why you should seriously consider hiring a reputable company to clean your fireplace.
Knowledge and Experience
Believe it or not, cleaning out a fireplace requires a lot of knowledge and experience. The byproducts of fire – especially creosote – can be extremely difficult to remove. A seasoned professional will know exactly how to tackle that built-up debris and will be able to effectively remove it from all of the components within your fireplace; the damper, the firebox, the doors, the screens, etc.
The Right Tools and Equipment
Cleaning out a fireplace requires a lot more than just a vacuum and some sudsy water. A reputable fireplace cleaning professional will have all of the necessary tools and equipment to get the job done the right way; state-of-the-art vacuums, cutting-edge brooms, advanced solvents, and more. Sure, you could purchase these tools and supplies on your own, but do you know exactly what you’ll need or how to use them?
Properly cleaning out a fireplace is vital for your safety. If the debris isn’t effectively removed, there’s a chance that the blaze will end up burning far beyond your fireplace; it could quickly engulf your entire home! Creosote, a byproduct of combustion, is highly flammable. Every time you use your fireplace, this sticky substance collects within all of the interior components, including the bricks, the damper, the doors, and even the screens. Creosote is a hard, sticky substance and it can be extremely difficult to remove on your own. To ensure the safety of your home and family, having a professional do the job is definitely in your best interest.
Improved Aesthetic Appeal
Dirty bricks, built-up ash, and soot; dirt and debris detract from the visual appeal of your fireplace. A professional will offer a range of services, such as fireplace brick cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and more. These services will restore the beauty of your fireplace so you can continue to enjoy its aesthetic qualities.
A lot of Laurelton homeowners assume that professional fireplace chimney cleaning costs will be more than they want to spend; hence the reason many people end up trying to DIY this all-important job. However, the truth is, cleaning a fireplace yourself can actually cost you a lot more than hiring a professional fireplace cleaning service.
Cleaning a fireplace requires numerous tools and supplies, the cost of which can be pretty high. Plus, if you damage the fireplace or you fail to properly clean it and a fire starts, the repairs can be exorbitant. Given all of these factors, hiring a professional will actually end up saving you money in the long run.
Between the setup, actually cleaning the fireplace, and then cleaning up after you’ve finished the job, fireplace cleaning can take several hours; not to mention the fact that it can be a very cumbersome task. If you aren’t keen on the idea of spending a day off covered in soot and ash and tidying up a huge mess, you should definitely hire a pro to clean your fireplace for you!
Peace of Mind
Given the money you’ll save, the ease, the improved safety, and the overall better results you’ll receive, when you hire a professional fireplace cleaner, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that the job will be done the right way.
